Troy, Mich.—August 11, 2023—The tradition of being honored for legal excellence continues at intellectual property law firm Fishman Stewart PLLC as Super Lawyers announced that six firm attorneys have been named to the 2023 Michigan Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. In compiling its annual index of attorneys, Super Lawyers uses a patented multiphase selection process with peer nominations, evaluations and independent research to determine who is awarded these designations.
The following Fishman Stewart attorneys have been named Michigan Super Lawyers for 2023 in their practice areas, followed by the years they have been chosen for this distinction:
- Michael D. Fishman: Intellectual Property (2006–2013; 2015–2023)
- Michael B. Stewart: Intellectual Property (2008–2023)
- John P. Guenther: Intellectual Property (2018–2023)
- Barbara L. Mandell: Intellectual Property Litigation (2016–2023)
- Michelle L. Visser: Intellectual Property (2021–2023)
Kameron F. Bonner has also been named a Rising Star in Intellectual Property, his seventh time on the list (2017–2023). The Rising Star designation is given to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the state—who are either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less.
In addition, attorneys Mandell and Visser will be recognized in the special Super Lawyers edition—The Annual List of Top Women Attorneys in Michigan—coming out in March 2024.
