Michael B. Stewart recently served among other invited IP professionals as a judge for The International Intellectual Property Law Clinic of Detroit Mercy Law and Windsor Law’s Annual International Patent Drafting Competition. The competition was held on February 24, 2017, at the Elijah J. McCoy Midwest Regional U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
According to The International Intellectual Property Law Clinic’s website, “The annual International Patent Drafting Competition, which is held at the Elijah J. McCoy Midwest Regional USPTO, takes place at the beginning of each year and offers student teams the opportunity to present their patent applications in front of a panel of judges comprised of patent examiners, practitioners and several high profile guest judges.”
Congratulations to the first, second and third place teams from Georgia State University, University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, and York University – Osgoode Hall Law School!
