The announcement of Mandell’s inclusion was made by Fishman Stewart CEO Michael Stewart.
According to Michigan Lawyers Weekly, the annual Leaders in the Law recognition honors those who are setting the standard for other lawyers through their outstanding contributions to the practice of law and the justice system, have demonstrated tremendous leadership and offer a wealth of expertise in diverse areas of the law. The 2026 class, listed here, will be honored at an event on November 20, 2026.
Mandell’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, copyright and trademark law and antitrust. She litigates, arbitrates and counsels her clients on patent, trademark and licensing matters, theft of trade secrets, breach of license and franchise agreements, trade dress and copyright infringement claims, and counterfeiting, unfair competition and false advertising claims. A seasoned arbitrator, she has presided over more than 70 commercial arbitrations, including at least 40 that advanced to written awards, for the American Arbitration Association, either as a solo arbitrator or on a panel, including as the panel chair.
The Leaders in the Law recognition follows numerous awards received by Mandell in acknowledgement of her stellar legal career. She is a multi-year honoree of Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers, a DBusiness Top Lawyer honoree and two-time recipient of the Lexology Client Choice award in the trademarks category. The Client Choice awards recognize leading law firms and legal practitioners for the value they provide to their clients; honorees can only be nominated by their clients.
