Michael B. Stewart will serve as an expert panelist at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office Legal Lecture and Expert Panel Discussion hosted by Lawrence Technological University on Wednesday, May 20th.
The topic of discussion is: 101 Post-Alice: How USPTO & Practitioners are Reacting
The legal lecture will be presented by Andrew Hirshfeld, the USPTO’s Deputy Commissioner for Patent Examination Policy, on the USPTO’s December 2014 interim guidance for patentable subject matter eligibility. Following the presentation, a panel of experts will discuss how the Alice v. CLS Bank International Supreme Court decision has impacted the USPTO and Practitioners.
