Brian Corby joined Fishman Stewart in 2025 as the firm’s first Chief Operating Officer.
Brian, who attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School, brings 35 years of law-firm management experience to his position, having led operations at a personal injury firm, a full-service law practice, and a Detroit-area criminal defense firm – where he served as COO for 19 years. His background spans strategic execution, operational optimization, culture development, and data-driven leadership—skills he leverages in guiding Fishman Stewart’s daily operations and long-term strategic initiatives.
Active in the business community, Brian is a member of Vistage Michigan. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan, where he is a member of the
Law Practice Management & Legal Administrators Section, Business Law Section, and the Labor & Employment Section. Additionally, he is a member of the Eastern District of Michigan Bar Association (EDMIBAR) and the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC). Bian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wayne State University.
