Tracy Zawaski is of counsel to Fishman Stewart. Her practice focuses primarily on trademarks, copyrights and computer law. For nearly 25 years, she has worked extensively on domestic and international trademark prosecution and contentious matters, trademark opinions, copyrights and counseling on trade secrets and trademarks. She also offers expertise in trademark enforcement and litigation, license agreements, and brand enforcements, among other trademark and IP law practices. She started her career as an associate attorney at Fishman Stewart and is pleased to be back.
Tracy possesses strong negotiation skills and is a trained mediator via both Northwestern University and the Center for Conflict Resolution. Her experience also includes pro bono work with underrepresented groups.
Tracy resides in Chicago and is active in the law community there, including the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC), Chicago Bar Association and Chicago Women in IP (ChiWIP). Outside of her law practice, she enjoys spending her spare time volunteering with pet rescues, engaging in community nonprofits and gardening.
