Gregory received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Detroit Mercy, where he also was a recipient of the Spiritus Academic Scholarship. While obtaining his Electrical Engineering Degree, Gregory was a member of the Engineering honors society, Tau Beta Pi and served as member and Treasurer of the Electrical Engineering honors society, Eta Kappa Nu. Gregory’s work experience during his undergraduate studies includes several years as an intern in automotive engineering and power substation design and analysis.
At the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Gregory was a Dean’s scholarship recipient while earning his Juris Doctor. Gregory was on the University of Detroit Mercy Law Review for two years, the second year of which he served as a Title Editor. As a student, he was named to the Dean’s list and achieved academic awards in Patent Law and Advanced Legal Research. Gregory also worked at the University of Detroit Mercy Intellectual Property Clinic where he drafted patent applications.
While earning his JD, Gregory clerked for several years at a large, general practice firm and specialized in intellectual property.
Gregory spends his free time playing basketball and golf, as well as attending sporting events.
