Michael B. Stewart Discusses Pro-Bono Assistance for Applicants at the USPTO Office in Detroit

Michael Stewart recently lectured on “Pro-Bono Assistance for Applicants” at the Elijah J. McCoy United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Detroit.  The Saturday Seminar was held on October 17, 2015.  Michael Stewart joined representatives from the Detroit satellite office and the USPTO in Alexandria, Va., who were on hand to conduct an all-day workshop for inventors and entrepreneurs.

Michael Stewart spoke about the pro-bono patent program and the relationship between client and attorney.  He has also lectured recently at the University of Michigan and Notre Dame University with representatives of the USPTO on various intellectual property topics.  Target audiences have included senior engineering design classes, business students, and law students.  See Michael B.
